Foundational Implementation
The Foundational Implementation introduces organisations to the Regulation by Design™ framework and supports the first stages of environmental observation and improvement.
What the Implementation Includes
• Access to the Regulation by Design™ Champion Training
• Environmental observation and mapping tools
• Access to the Calm Library resources
• Guidance for environmental adjustments
• Structured review points during the implementation period
Champion Role
Each participating organisation nominates internal champions who complete the Regulation by Design™ training and support environmental observation within their setting.
Champions coordinate environmental mapping, introduce small environmental adjustments and monitor the cultural impact of environmental changes over time.
What This Leads To.
Outcomes of Foundational Implementation.
Through the foundational implementation phase, settings begin to understand how their environment influences behaviour, wellbeing and care capacity.
Small, achievable changes are introduced to reduce environmental load and support regulation across the setting.
This creates a foundation for longer-term cultural and environmental change.
